Mitosis

A process integral to  the division of a mother eukaryotic cell into two two daughter cells genetically identical to each other, and their mother. It is the process by which the chromosomes in a eukaryote cell separates the chromosomes into two separate sets in two separate nuclei. It is normally followed by cytokinesis, which divides the cell contents (including the two nuclei) between two daughter cells.
